Target Light Sensor Technology:
The 4x32 BROWE Combat Optic (BCO) has a photocell that measures target light levels and automaticly adjust the reticle illumination to the proper level. For many years, photo sensors have been used in a variety of optics to detect ambient light. What make the BCO Target Light Sensor Techology unique is that it measures the target light levels from the optical light path and automatically adjuste the brightness to properly contrast the target light and shields the sensor from ambient light conditions. With extensive research adn development, it was discovered that mounting the a sensor in the light path behind the objective lens magnifies the incoming light and provides greater sensitivity and accuracy of the target light levels. Also, avoids sensor errors casused from ambient light that is near the operator.
